This is my first season fishing, I am retired and needed a hobby. Went out ion the Rock River near Rockford Il today and tried finesse worms, crank baits, tube baits, worms and finally caught one using live minnows. I spent about 3 hours on the river and this is all I caught.

Fishing is a wonderful hobby, its never too late to start learning about the trade. Youll get used to it sooner or later. I've been fishing for a 10 years and every fishing trip is a new and exciting experience. I can't wait to catch some trout this weekend with my abu garcia revo sx baitcasting reel.
