where to fish in stclair county for catfish?

I'm not sure if it is in St. Claire county limits or not... but you may try hoseshoe lake at 203 and bend road. I hear that is pretty good for catfishing.

Caught a real nice 3lbs channel at Duck Island behind Rice Lake south of Banner Illinois. From this area you can fish the banks that are the back of Rice Lake. When the Illinois River comes up this lake fills fast and leaves very large cats, carps and snakes in it.
