Bait Details: And here it is. My first Northern Pike! Those 5 inch Yamasenkos never seem to let me down. Thankfully I had a decent hookset, so the lack of a leader did not pose a problem.
Location Details: I had seen fish jumping at the mouth of the river (for the bay) before, and decided to cast some yamas as the wind pushed me back. Guy dragged me around a bit too. He measured out at 6.5 pounds and 35 inches
