There is a variety of species in Channel Lake. Consistent numbers of spawning Yellow Bass, Pumpkinseed and Bluegill can be found on the far southern end of the bay around the channel mouth as it warms quicker than the remainder of the Lake. There is also an improving population of Muskie and Northern Pike.
